Leaf printing on fabric

Following the gelli printing I did with leaves on paper, I
have been doing the same on fabric.
I am pleased with the results.
I just used leaves from the garden. Sage
and lemon balm gave the best prints,  and I have
an endless supply of them.
The fabric I used was some I had printed earlier with
Procion dyes. The colours which worked best were
greens and blues, with copper and silver. The ones I did
with pinks and purples were quite interesting too.
Now I am thinking how I can make stitched pieces with
the fabric I have produced. Maybe some  hand embroidery will
look good......

The garden in snow

We had a very light covering of snow this morning, so I rushed out to take some photos. The leaves look amazing with their white frosting.
