At my mixed media group we have been experimenting with making a
printing plate with shaving foam. It couldn't be simpler! Take a shallow
plastic tray or box and fill with shaving foam. Surprisingly it creates a firm
surface. Then add in acrylic paints or inks and stir, creating a pattern.
Now take a print of it with paper! It makes great marble effects.
Useful for background pages. It is a simple project for children too.
