A Present from India

Woodblocks from India, a present from my husband's trip to Mombai.
They are hand carved and he bought them in a market. I can't wait to try
them! They will be put to good use.

Birds and Butterflies crayon rubbings

The first thing I do with print blocks is to take wax crayon rubbings. I find that this helps understand the lights and darks, and to familiarise  myself with the patterns.

Tag Tuesday-Winter Wonderland

The first theme of the year for Tag Tuesday is Winter Wonderland.

For my Winter Wonderland tag I have combined some of my
favourite things:- gelli printing, wooden print blocks, snowflakes
and washi tape.
